This is a very short walk-simply go back to the Church in the Plaza and take the route to the left of the church which goes past a few houses...

You will pass many of the village cats sunning themselves as you walk through the village...

and out into the Campo...and you will see some cultivated land below you to the right...After a few minutes you reach the Old Wash-house on your left. Not that long ago people gathered here to do their washing in the cold mountain water communally...sharing news and stories...visiting it gives a sense of a way of life now gone...

Just beyond the Wash-house you come to the place where the mountain Spring feeds the Village before it is chlorinated...you can collectthe spring water to drink if you prefer it to tap water...beyond the Spring the track goes off to the right and if you follow it ...it leads you back down to the lower mountain road....Turn right and you will end up below casa Ana...turn right up steep rough track to house...

Alterntively there is a shortcut going to strt this walk going right and then left at Mari's house...it's very steep to join the higher track to the wash-house

This is a very short circular walk....steep in places and takes 15 minutes or so...from Casa Ana...
