There are plenty of interesting places to stop en route for a meal...shopping or to have a swim...to break up the journey...Nerja is a great stop for lunch if the weather is good...or Salobrenia...you can also if you choose to pick up Supermarket shopping in either Salobreia or Motril...to stock up before driving up to the village...Locally on the coast there are smaller shops and markets to buy food...
